Puma is a German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories, which is headquartered in Bavaria, Germany.
The company was founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler and has grown to become the third largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. In 2018, Kering announced it would spin off a 70% stake in Puma to its shareholders, retaining directly 16%.
