Description:

Named after the famous French racecourse, Longchamp, was founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain, and is still owned and run by the Cassegrain family. Longchamp manufactures around half its bags in France, and recently marked its 70th anniversary with its first fashion show in New York and hired model Kendall Jenner as the face of its campaigns to raise its US profile.

The handbags, luggage and accessories have expanded to include shoes and ready-to-wear collections. Best known for its folding Le Pliage - "to fold" handbags, there are today around 300 Longchamp boutiques worldwide.
