Founded in 2015 through the merger of Yoox and Net-A-Porter, the Yoox Net-A-Porter Group (YNAP) has become a global luxury fashion powerhouse. Renowned for its unparalleled online retail platform, YNAP offers a curated selection of high-end designer clothing, accessories, and beauty products.
Richemont, the Swiss luxury goods group, became the majority shareholder in 2018, and later in 2020, YNAP became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Richemont. In 2022, Richemont gave up control of the online fashion retailer and sold 51% of loss-making Yoox Net-a-Porter to London rival Farfetch. Farfetch, which stocks brands including Alexander McQueen and Prada, has the option to buy the rest over the next five years.
