Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, Chloé is a French luxury fashion house. The brand was created to offer ready-to-wear, which, at the time, was a new concept. In 1985, the company was bought by Alfred Dunhill Ltd., which is now part of the Richemont Group.
Known for its innovative visions, in 2007 Chloé was the first luxury brand to offer a mobile version of its website and the first to broadcast, in 2008, its fashion show the same day it took place. Some of fashion’s best known designers have helmed Chloé including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo and Clare Waight Keller.
