Established by Tom and Ruth Chapman in 1987, MATCHES is a London-based global luxury fashion retailer. Its website offers 650 high-end luxury brands including Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Burberry.
Formally named MatchesFashion, the business operates online and through a limited amount of London retail locations. The company also offers 24/7 advice through fashion-concierge team MyStylist.
The Chapman's sold the business to private equity house Apax Partners for £800 million in 2017. Frasers Group confirmed the acquisition of MATCHES in December 2023.
