Description:

Established by Enrique Loewe Roessberg in 1846, Loewe is a Spanish luxury fashion house based in Madrid. The company is known for its leather goods, clothing, perfumes and other fashion accessories.

The company was established in 1846 when a group of Spanish leather craftsmen in Madrid were joined by Enrique Loewe, a merchant of Hessian origin. By the early 20th Century, many notable people took great interest in Loewe and Queen Victoria Eugenie became a regular customer.

The label is owned by the LVMH Group but the manufacturing, in particular of its leather products, still takes place in Madrid.

In 2024, actor Jamie Dornan, best known for his roles in 50 Shades of Grey and The Tourist, became its newest Global Brand Ambassador.
