Global shopping app, Lyst, has released its quarterly index, with Loewe unsurprisingly topping the charts for the most sought-after brand for Q2 of 2023.

Last year, The Lyst Index named Miu Miu’s ballet flats fashion item of the year, however, Loewe’s Anagram tank top, spotted on the likes of Kylie Jenner and countless TikTokers, has shoved the satin shoes off the top spot. Miu Miu is now sitting in fourth place,

The Lyst Index is a quarterly ranking of fashion’s hottest brands and products. The Lyst Index takes into account Lyst's 200 million shoppers’ behaviour, including searches on and off platforms, product views and sales. The formula also incorporates social media mentions, activity and engagement statistics worldwide, over a three-month period.

After celebs such as Beyoncé have been spotted sporting Loewe’s surrealist creations – such as custom-made tour ensemble that featured the brand's signature Trompe l’oeil hands motif – the Spanish brand has topped the list of the most influential brands of the moment.

One of the oldest luxury houses, under creative director Jonathan Anderson, Loewe has undergone a renaissance. In the past year, it has climbed 13 places, now standing at the top of the list. This quarter alone, searches for Loewe have increased 19%.

On the list, Loewe was unsurprisingly followed by household names Prada, Versace, Bottega and Valentino.

Though Loewe’s logo-imbued designs have secured its place at the top of the charts, its clear that ‘quiet luxury’ had its influence from a quick glance at the list. Lyst’s data suggests that some shoppers are embracing the aesthetic, with conspicuously inconspicuous items like The Row’s Ginza flip flops, Alaïa’s mesh flats and a Loro Piana baseball cap entering the Hottest Products list.
