Hermès is a French luxury design house established in 1837. It specialises in leather goods, lifestyle accessories, home furnishings, perfumery, jewellery, watches and ready-to-wear clothing.
Since the 1950s, its logo has included the image of a Duke carriage with horse. In 2019, the brand was ranked 33rd in the Forbes List "World's Most Valuable Brands"
The Hermès Foundation was launched in 2008. It is chaired by Pierre-Alexis Dumas, the artistic director of Hermès, and directed by Catherine Tsekenis. The Foundation embodies the group's goal to sponsor and support creation and craftsmanship activities.
