Reebok is a footwear and clothing brand, previously owned by German sporting goods giant Adidas between 2005 to 2022. Reebok produces and distributes fitness, running, and CrossFit sportswear, including clothing and footwear.
The company was founded in the UK in 1958 as a companion company to J.W. Foster and Sons, a sporting goods company which had been founded in 1895 in Bolton. From 1958 until 1986, the brand featured the Union Jack in its logo to signify the origins of the company.
In August 2021, it was announced that Authentic Brands Group would be acquiring the Reebok brand from Adidas for at least $2.5 billion.
