Founded in 1856, Hunter Boot is a British rubber Wellington boot and footwear brand. Previously known as the North British Rubber Company, the brand also sells bags, socks, and other accessories.
In 2014, Hunter opened its first global flagship store in London and the rubber boots have been spotted at music festival throughout the years.
In 2020, the British bootmaker secured a £16.5m rescue deal to secure its future after its sales were impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The brand's existing backers invested the cash as part of a deal that will see former minority shareholder Pall Mall Legacy become the controlling shareholder.
