Founded by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni in 1953, Missoni is an Italian luxury fashion house famous for its colourful knit designs. The brand is renown for its collaborations, including Target in 2011 and American celebrity Jennifer Lopez in 2017.

In 2018, it was announced that Missoni sold 41.2% stake to an investment fund in order to help expand the business and get the company ready for a future public listing.
