Footasylum was founded in 2005 by David Makin, an established retail operator who was one of the two co-founders of JD Sports Plc. Footasylum is a UK-based lifestyle fashion retailer, focused on bringing to market footwear and apparel collections predominantly aimed at 16 to 24 year old fashion-conscious customers.

Riding the sportswear and sneaker trend, the Company operates a multi-channel model combining more than 65 stores with a fast growing eCommerce platform and a recently launched wholesale arm.
