Founded by Tamara and Simon Hill-Norton in 1998, Sweaty Betty is a British retailer specialising in women’s activewear and it operates over 50 boutiques in the UK, six in the United States and concessions in department stores Harrods and Bloomingdale's.
The brand is renowned for its collaborations with organisations and people including Breast Cancer Care charity in 2010, the English National Ballet in 2013 and designer Richard Nicoll in 2015. In June 2019 Julia Straus was promoted to the role of CEO Sweaty Betty, with former CEO Simon Hill-Norton becoming company chairman.
