Founded in 1997 by Thierry Gillier, Zadig & Voltaire is a French luxury fashion label known for its casual rock styling mixed with more classic fabrics such as cashmere. In 2004, the brand expanded to menswear and, in 2006, to kidswear.
Then in 2008, Zadig & Voltaire started developing its own line of accessories, watches, footwear and bags called Deluxe and, in the same year, it also launched an independent music label called Zadig & Voltaire Music.
