Kitty Ferreira is an award winning label that aims to dispel the ‘hippy’ connotations of ethical and sustainable fashion, by juxtaposing city chic with the natural world. Made in London, UK in sustainably sophisticated silhouettes, this multi- product collection has been described by The Guardian as suitable for “boardroom activists” and made in sizes 6-26.
The label was created by London College of Fashion graduate, Creative MD & Founder, Valerie Goode after being headhunted to work in China as a Senior Womenswear Designer. It was the horrendous pollution she witnessed, that served as the catalyst to create the Kitty Ferreira brand. Also taking reference from her late grandmother’s Caribbean lifestyle, whom the label is named after: “The value in upcycling has been practiced by our grandmothers long before it became a fashionable term”.
This label produce exclusively in the UK. Sustainability not only runs through its business model but through the products themselves; manufacturing with high end finishing to promote durability and longevity.
Kitty Ferreira believe it is part of the UK manufacturing regeneration, promoting a sustainable economy for all from the ground up. Likewise, by not contributing to fast fashion supply chains.
