Central St Martins University is made up of an ever-changing network of cultures, backgrounds and experiences.
It is a constituent college of the University of the Arts London. It offers full-time courses at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and a variety of short and summer courses. It was has previously been known as Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, and before that as Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
The fashion courses on offer provide students with a wide variety of specialist fields to actively learn and develop at - most of which are not available at other educational institutions across the UK, including knitwear, fashion prints and promotion.
In 1998 the London Institute received a Queen's Anniversary Prize for the large contribution from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design to the growth of the fashion industry in Britain. The University of the Arts London received a Queen's Anniversary Prize in 2013, for the contribution of CSM industrial and product design graduates to commerce, industry and the design profession.
