Global sportswear brand, Puma, is set to bring its assortment of apparel and footwear to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend with a new store set to open its doors 24 August.

This marks the brand’s first brick-and-mortar location in Wales. Now, local fans of the brand can save the hour journey to the nearest Puma store in Swindon Designer Outlet.

The 3,930 sq ft space, set to strengthen the outlet’s sportswear offering, will create 15 new full and part-time jobs to support the local economy.

Richard Garratt, Centre Manager at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend, said: "As part of our commitment to bringing a wide range of world-renowned brands to the Centre, we know our sportswear offering has always been hugely popular among our guests.

"Building upon our existing portfolio of brands, we are delighted to welcome Puma to the Bridgend Designer Outlet. The store looks absolutely fantastic, and we cannot wait for Centre visitors to explore it for themselves."

Bridgend Designer Outlet’s visitors will be able to shop Puma’s most popular styles from the Court Star to the Motorsport collections. By the launch date, the new unit will be home to a staggering 400 product lines.

Colette Hilton, Head of Retail and E-commerce Puma UK&I, commented: "We look forward to welcoming all Bridgend Designer Outlet guests to our newest store in Wales. With an unrivalled product selection and an incredible team, visitors are sure to experience Puma at its finest."

Puma also recently opened a new 2,184 sq ft outlet store at Gloucester Quays. The store features the brand’s range of sports apparel, including its classic women’s, men’s, and kids clothing ranges. Dedicated collections for sports such as running, football and motorsport are also on offer, as well as its extensive range of trademark footwear.
