Net-A-Porter is a leading luxury ecommerce launched by Dame Natalie Massenet in 2000. Net-A-Porter’s portfolio includes Net-A-Porter, The Outnet, Mr Porter and Yoox. This luxury e-commerce shook up the luxury market and proved that customers are willing to buy high-end fashion online. It has gone on to become one of the world’s premier luxury online fashion retailer, offering clothes, accessories and beauty from over 800 of the world’s most coveted designer brands – including Gucci, Balenciaga and Prada.
Alongside the website, the company offers a print magazine, PORTER, and a digital version, Porter EDIT, which includes weekly emails with unmissable fashion, beauty and exclusive celebrity interviews.
Recently NET-A-PORTER introduced shopping for clothing based on its environmental credentials following the launch of its new NET SUSTAIN edit.
The edit highlights and celebrates the brands sold on the site that meet the business’ criteria for sustainability, offering customers a way to identify those brands and products more easily.
Launching with 26 brands and comprising 500 products, every item within NET SUSTAIN meets one or more of five key attributes ranging from: considered materials and processes to reducing waste in their supply chain; taking into account human, animal and environmental welfare; and aligning with internationally recognised best practices in the fashion and beauty industries.
In January 2018 the luxury online fashion group revealed its sales topped €2bn in financial year 2017, an increase of almost 17% on organic basis year-on-year.
