Kering is a French luxury fashion group which own a series of renowned Houses in Fashion including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, Qeelin, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux and Kering Eyewear.
In July 2018, Kering achieved a 26.8% reported growth in revenue reaching €6.43bn. The group also achieved a record-high recurring operating income of €1.77bn, up 53.1%, while its recurring operating margin was up 470 basis points to 27.5%.
Recently Kering has been focusing its energy on its big name luxury brands having divested sports brand Puma and selling back its 50% stake in Stella McCartney to the designer herself.
To mark World Environment Day, Kering launched its new digital platform dedicated to its pioneering Environmental Profit and Loss (EP&L) account. The digital EP&L showcases Kering’s new, interactive 2018 Group EP&L report and provides access to “unprecedented open data” with an aim to support luxury and fashion players with information and insight into the complexities of their own environmental impacts.
