Founded in 2015 by Alex Loizou and Mandeep Singh, Trouva is an online platform dedicated to the best bricks-and-mortar boutiques where users can shop design-led homeware, fashion and accessories from one online destination.

By using the company’s marketplace, independent stores can get online and easily access customers from all over the world.

In 2017 it raised $10m in a series A funding round led by BGF Ventures, the UK’s largest venture fund, along with Index Ventures and Octopus Investments.
