Trouva

Description:

Founded in 2015 by Alex Loizou and Mandeep Singh, Trouva is an online platform dedicated to the best bricks-and-mortar boutiques where users can shop design-led homeware, fashion and accessories from one online destination. By using the company’s marketplace, independent stores can get online and easily access customers from all over the world.

In 2017 it raised $10m in a series A funding round led by BGF Ventures, the UK’s largest venture fund, along with Index Ventures (Europe’s largest VC fund and a backer of ASOS, Farfetch and Etsy) and Octopus Investments.

Earlier this year (2019) it was named one of the top 5 tech scale ups in the UK in Tech5, the annual technology showcase organised by Adyen and TNW.
