Stella McCartney launches Disney Fantasia capsule collection
Stella McCartney has launched a capsule collection based on the 1940 Disney film Fantasia, as an extension to her Spring 2022 collection, "Mushrooms Are The Future".
Inspired by McCartney's love for the film, the unisex collection combines fashion and fantasy, taking inspiration from the avant-garde film and transforming them into a wearable collection.
The Summer 2022 collection features never-before-seen Fantasia graphics, psychedelic patterns and motifs which reference the film, alongside accessories such as bucket hats, pool slides, sneakers, safari caps, sneakers, sandals, and shoulder bags.
In addition, the collection is made with conscious materials including old-stock repurposed silk, organic cotton jersey and denim, recycled nylon and polyester and traceable, responsible wool from regenerative farms and traceable sources.
The British luxury house added that a capsule collection for Stella McCartney Kids will also be released in Autumn 2022.
The Stella McCartney x Disney collection is available on the house's e-commerce, priced between £50-£2,500.
