Google searches for vintage Gucci have spiked by 270%

With the House Of Gucci movie coming to UK theatres today Google searches for vintage Gucci items have spiked by 270% in the last week according to e-commerce savings platform Wethrift.
The platform also revealed that premium vintage stockists have seen a 1,500% spike in shoppers searching for Gucci clothing, presumably as the new feature film features not only superstar Lady Gaga but also a host of the luxury brand's 1990 design staples.
The most trending six items were the Jackie bag, a thin gold watch, the Bamboo Leather Crossbody bag, Boston Bowling bag, black sunglasses and GG buckle belt.
UK supermarket Asda announced yesterday that it would stock vintage Gucci in some of its stores.
