Norse Projects launches trainer collaboration with Adidas

Danish fashion brand Norse Projects has just launched a trainer collaboration with Adidas, reinterpreting the sports brand’s well known ‘Campus’ and ‘Terrex Skychaser’ styles.

With a nod to Norse Projects’ roots, the casual and city-ready Campus is crafted with an English calf leather upper, while recycled elements are used for the stripes and heel overlay.

In contrast, Norse Projects’ Skychaser represents the outdoors and is crafted for varied terrains. The upper features a two-way stretch woven nylon, resting on a ‘Boost’ sole unit.

A spokesperson for Norse Projects said: “In true Norse Projects style, our idea was to work around one highly functional model and one classic and timeless model. The Skychaser is a performance model for the outdoors that can be used in many environments. The Campus is a timeless classic that effortlessly speaks to the idea of a street uniform.

“The look of the Campus remains classic, but the suede upper is Scotchguard-coated to make it water-repellent. The tongue on both models has been updated with lightweight foam for comfort and breathability.

“This design element ties the two models together despite them being in different categories. Both models appear dark, almost black, from afar but as you get closer, the colours show the native tones of the Faroe Islands environment.”
