Urban Outfitters adds Kelly Campbell to its Board of Directors
Urban Outfitters Inc. has appointed Kelly Campbell as a new director on its board, increasing its total number of seats to 11.
The company has a global portfolio of consumer brands including Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters and more with retail outlets in the US, Canada and Europe.
The company stated that it had chosen Campbell "based on her extensive marketing experience and knowledge", having held leadership positions at streaming platforms Peacock and Hulu, as well as spending a decade at Google.
Richard A. Hayne, Chairman of Urban Outfitters, Inc. said: “We are delighted to have Kelly Campbell join our Board as an independent director. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience about marketing and subscription businesses which will help inform our digital strategies.”
Urban Outfitters Inc. has recently reported positive financial results, earning a net income of $89 million for the three months ending 31 October 2021.
