Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein strengthen outlet offerings

Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, the US-founded brands renowned for their sport-inspired apparel, have opened stores at Caledonia Park, Scotland’s designer outlet village.

Joining brands such as Nike and Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger has opened a 5,000 sq ft store at the centre. The new store, which is the brand’s 15th outlet in the UK, stocks the brand’s timeless ‘American style’ menswear and womenswear ranges.

Joining Tommy Hilfiger is fellow PVH brand, Calvin Klein, which has opened its 4,100 sq ft unit at the centre. The new space stocks apparel, from jeans and seasonal coats to underwear and accessories. Calvin Klein at Caledonia Park marks the brand’s 16th store within its UK outlet portfolio.

Both openings showcase the continual appeal of outlet centres to leading international retailers, following the demand from British shoppers.

Maria Averkina, Asset and Development Manager at Railpen, said: “A key part of our leasing strategy following the refurbishment of Caledonia Park is to deliver a strong collection of aspirational brands to the centre, and we are pleased to see this positive momentum continue as we celebrate the openings of Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.

"These openings represent a significant endorsement for Caledonia Park, as well as its appeal to global retailers, and further bolsters our position as Scotland’s premium designer outlet village.”

This follows the news that Hobbs and Phase Eight is set to open a 1,112 sq ft unit at Caledonia Park later this month. This marks Hobbs’ first Scottish outlet and Phase Eight’s second to date.
