The Fold champions female empowerment with new Manchester City Women campaign

Womenswear brand The Fold has launched a new campaign with Manchester City Women’s Football Club, aiming to boost female professionals’ self-confidence and help them prepare for career success.

Founded by Polly McMaster in 2012, The Fold was created to meet the demand for stylish, yet work-appropriate clothing.

The new campaign with Manchester City Women’s Football Club adds to the brand's existing Fold Woman series, which champions a diverse range of inspiring women from different backgrounds and industries.

Manchester City Women’s Football Club players Alex Greenwood, Deyna Castellanos and Laura Coombs feature in the latest campaign.

It also includes Chief Marketing & Fan Experience Officer of City Football Group, Nuria Tarré, and former England and Manchester City goalkeeper and current Project Officer at Manchester City, Karen Bardsley.

As part of the campaign, the five women reveal the practical things they do to prepare for an important match or big moment.

They share details on what helps them focus and get into the right mindset, as well as how dressing well has a positive influence on their mood and confidence.

The campaign marks the latest activity from The Fold’s partnership with Manchester City Women, which officially launched in November 2022.

The brand also said it will continue to provide the team’s players and professionals with access to a selection of tailoring for another season.
