Temperley London has appointed Patricia Sancho as CEO who will work closely with the brand's founder Alice Temperley on its future vision and strategy.

Sancho has been Temperley's president since November 2015 and prior to that its SVP of global sales. Before joining the London-based brand in 2013 she was with Juicy Couture as commercial director for Europe and the Middle East.

Temperley London was founded by Alice Temperley, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, in 2000. Its core business is its women's ready-to-wear which encompasses eveningwear, daywear and cocktail attire and it launched its bridal collection in 2002.

It is sold in the brand's flagship store in London's Bruton Street and in a bridal boutique in Colville Mews in Notting Hill as well as stores in Dubai and Qatar and around 150 wholesale accounts globally.

In 2012 it also forged a successful partnership with department store John Lewis to produce the Somerset by Alice Temperley collection.

At a talk with The Industry held during London Fashion Week in September 2016 Temperley revealed her ambition to create a fully fledged lifestyle brand. "We want to be more of a lifestyle brand, one that’s quintessentially British. All of the pattern and the details and the colour will translate into so many other products so that’s what we’ll be doing," she said.
