AIM-listed online fashion brand Sosandar has appointed e-commerce and marketing expert Andrew Booth as non-executive director with immediate effect.

Booth has 25 years' experience in the travel, retail and media sectors both in the UK and internationally. He was most recently chief marketing officer at the UK's leading online accommodation site owner The Late Rooms Group.

Prior to The Late Rooms Group, Booth was Chief Marketing Officer on the board of online retailer The Hut Group and has been group marketing director for Time Out Group,  vice president marketing at Getty Images and global business development director at Wace Group.

"We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the board of Sosandar PLC. Andrew comes with a wealth of experience in e-commerce. His experience in rapidly growing data driven businesses and strong relationships within the industry make him an invaluable addition to the board, as we continue to accelerate the growth of Sosandar," said Sosandar joint CEOs and co-founders Ali Hall and Julie Lavington.

Sosandar was founded in September 2016 by Hall and Lavington, former editor and publishing director of Look magazine, to fill a gap in the market for trend-led accessibly priced fashion for women who had grown out of fast fashion etailers such as ASOS. It floated on AIM last November following a buy out by AIM-listed cash shell Orogen.
