River Island reveals “biggest ever” reward campaign for Easter

High street giant River Island has announced its biggest ever reward campaign for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, from 7-10 April 2023, as it looks to give footfall in its stores a major boost over the holiday period.

The retailer will be offering customers 100,000 surprise treats to redeem in 100 of its key stores, and shoppers will be offered ‘Lucky Dip Vouchers’ with mystery gifts including £250 ‘Shopping Sprees’.

In addition, customers that receive the retailers e-receipts will have a treat sent direct to their inbox to redeem in local stores.

Gemma Scarfe, Digital and Marketing Director said: “Our customer is always at the heart of what we do at River Island, and this Bank Holiday weekend we want to treat them.

“As the spring season gets underway, we want to reward our customers who choose to shop with us, receiving the full instore experience as well as the joy that shopping brings.”

In addition to the store rewards, customers who are part of the River Island ‘Insiders’ programme and receive newsletter emails will also be given treats via email over the long weekend.

In other news, yesterday it was reported that River Island Chief Product Officer, Phil Cooke, is stepping down “with immediate effect”.
