Pandora selects London for new global hub to hire digital and marketing talents

Pandora is set to create a global hub within its UK and Ireland headquarters in London, investing in UK talent from the marketing, digital and technology sectors.

The announcement comes after the world's largest jewellery company shifted its strategy to operate all of its global roles out of its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The London Hub will provide support to initiatives across data science, digital marketing, digital architecture, engineering and experience design.

Pandora confirmed it chose London based on global research which identified the UK as having a particularly strong talent base for digital and marketing talents, as well as the convenience of proximity to its Danish headquarters.

The company will begin hiring several new leads in its central London office, adding to the 120 new hires from the digital and technology sectors last year.

Erik Schmidt, Chief HR Officer of Pandora, said: "To create a great customer experience, we want to know our shoppers better and how best to serve their needs – that's where the focus on data and personalisation comes in. At the same time, the competition to source talent with the digital capabilities we need is more fierce than ever. Pandora offers an amazing proposition to our people globally and given the pace our business is growing, we are flexing our approach to acquiring talent.

"Pandora's talent acquisition specialists conducted global research to narrow down where the best digital and marketing talent for Pandora are based. London was identified as a key location based on the number of key-skills workers that are based in the city, as well as its easy connections to Pandora's global HQ in Copenhagen."
