Omnes champions charity this festive season with ‘Giving back Friday’

British sustainable fashion brand, Omnes, is launching its “Giving Back Friday” campaign for the second year in a row. The initiative sees a portion of sales donated to Rewilding Britain, taking advantage of the busiest shopping season of the year.

Omnes was founded in 2020 based on creating responsibly crafted fashion at a fair and attainable price point. To prompt a broader change across the industry, the 'Giving Back Friday' campaign showcases how brands can use the festive season’s momentum to give back to the planet.

Fashion is estimated to account for up to 10% of global carbon dioxide output. Along with millions of tonnes of textiles ending up in landfill every year, its impact is catastrophic. As a climate-positive brand, Omnes is committed to supporting the natural environment, which is why this year they will be donating 5% of all sales of the brand’s signature animal-printed garments to support Rewilding Britain via Work For Good.

Jordan Razavi, Founder of Omnes, commented: “At Omnes, we’ve always loved playing with prints and colour. With nature in many ways the world’s greatest artist, it’s no wonder our customers love our graphic animal prints.

“This year we wanted to give back to our animal inspirations by donating a percentage of sales of all animal print garments to Rewilding Britain. Wild ecosystems play a pivotal role in tackling the effects of climate change, but many of these resources are sadly depleted. If in some small way, we can support these biodiverse communities to re-establish themselves, it’s a step in the right direction.”

Earlier this month, Omnes opened the doors to its first-ever pop-up shop on London’s Carnaby Street. Offering its socially responsible customers their first opportunity to shop the brand in person, the 1,200 sq ft store is spread over two floors. Giving Back Friday will be available at the pop-up from 21-26 November as well as online.
