New London T-shirt brand Livotte to launch on HarveyNichols.com

New luxe t-shirt brand Livotte London is set to unveil its collection on HarveyNichols.com this month.

The brand was launched last autumn by New Yorkers turned Londoners Beth Pollak and Delphine McNeill and has now been picked up by the luxury department store.

Livotte London is designed and produced in the UK capital using organic cotton jersey and features 11 shirt styles available in black and white only, in sizes XS to L, and all of which are priced at £135.

Pollak, who began her career at Lucky magazine before working with brands, and McNeill, a former catwalk and event producer, say they saw a gap in the market for "practical, chic, machine-washable tops that would take them throughout their day". The fabric used on Livotte shirts has been tested to withstand more than 200 washes.

"We love London. It’s where we live, (where we love and where we lunch) so growing a business anywhere else was never a consideration. We source our organic fabric in the UK from one of the top mills in the world. Our factory specializes in small run production; this ensures top quality and finishing from sample room to production to consumer," the pair said.
