In Pictures: Swarovski creates crystal mini bags with Marina Raphael
Swarovski’s Creators Lab has teamed up with designer Marina Raphael to create a series of limited-edition crystal-embellished handbags for Valentine's Day.
The collaboration, which comes off the back of Sarovski’s recent partnership with SKIMS, was designed with Valentine’s Day in mind. The line-up "celebrates love in all shapes and sizes", with bedazzled handbags created to "have and to hold forever".
The centrepiece of the Marina Raphael x Swarovski collection, the Micro Stella, bag is illuminated with Swarovski’s Crystals, in blue, pink and white colourways.
Swarovski has a rich history of influencing pop culture, and Swarovski Creators Lab continues this tradition of championing creativity and supporting the artistic endeavours of emerging and established talents. The handbag designer, who is a sixth-generation of the Swarovski family Raphael tapped into the brand's heritage and her unique style.
Raphael commented: "Through our amazing craftsmanship, we very much focus on form, functionality, and quality, so we have an impeccable base with which to be creative. And our new collaboration with Swarovski Creators Lab is a glittering example of this."
