Gap gets a dose of LoveShackFancy’s fanciful frills in limited-edition collection

Gap, the iconic high street retailer, and LoveShackFancy, a NewYork-founded luxury brand renowned for its fanciful frocks and romantic laces, have today announced a limited-edition collection of apparel and accessories that transcends generations.

The collaboration, which launches in the UK on 17 August, merges Gap’s instantly recognisable with LoveShackFancy’s nostalgic lace and vintage-inspired florals.

The 55-piece collection brings a fresh take to classic denim, pastels and logos. It's made up of understated neutral tones, floral prints and whimsical textures. Who knew Gap’s signature arch logo typeface could ooze romanticism?

The entire assortment spans multiple product categories including dresses, skirts, trousers, hoodies, outerwear, shirts and accessories. Thanks to shared styles and prints, on release, the collection will see the entire family in matching fits.

Award-winning artist and entrepreneur Ciara takes centre stage in the campaign, alongside two of her children. The shoot, by fashion photographer Zoey Grossman, exudes the power of femininity as well as bridging the generational gap. The cast also features the next generation of changemakers, artists, and dancers, infusing movement into every frame to showcase the collection’s distinct structures.

The Gap x LoveShackFancy collection will be available to shop on Gap.co.uk, in Gap's flagship Oxford Street, London store and Manchester’s Trafford store.

This news follows Gap's recent collaboration with Mattel on a Barbie-themed collection. It combined Gap's signature style and product icons with classic Barbie™ branding.
