French Connection has today opened the doors to its latest store at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet York, just weeks after opening an additional outlet store at Outlet Shopping at the O2.

The UK-based company was founded in 1972 by Stephen Marks with the aim to "create design-led, fashionable clothing". Today, the store boasts over 200 retail locations across the globe. Its latest store joins a group of global retailers at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet such as Adidas, BOSS, Kurt Geiger, Michael Kors, Nike and more.

This is French Connection's second brick-and-mortar opening this year, reflecting customer demand for in-store shopping. The new unit offers a wide selection of timeless fashion and accessories for women and men. This includes signature dresses, every day "responsible denim" and affordable eco-conscious pieces.

The store's design reflects the brand's clean and minimalist aesthetic that acts as a backdrop for the curated product offering.

Simon Donoghue, Head of Retail at French Connection, commented: "We are thrilled to be a part of the centre's lineup. We look forward to the opening and the exciting opportunities it brings."

This follows the news that French Connection opened a 1,766 sq ft store at the O2 Arena’s outlet destination, marking its first outlet store to open in six years, and its debut outlet store in London.
