Frasers Group fashion CEO departs

16 June 2023

Frasers Group fashion CEO Greg Pateras has left the business after successfully integrating Missguided and I Saw It First into the group’s platform.

Pateras oversaw Missguided and I Saw It First after their acquisition last year. He helped to integrate the businesses into Frasers Group's platform and reposition them for profitable growth.

As part of this, he migrated the businesses into a new head office, closed warehousing facilities and integrated the businesses onto the group's tech stack and into its warehouse and logistics infrastructure.

Frasers bought Missguided out of administration in June 2022. Shortly after, the group acquired fellow fast fashion retailer I Saw It First.

Prior to this, Pateras served as CEO of I Saw it First and was promoted to lead the newly-acquired brands last August.

In a post on LinkedIn, Pateras said: "Thanks to all at Frasers Fashion.

"My last day, and just wanted to say thank you to all my colleagues who have given me everything over that last few years. We have achieved so much. A sale, restructuring and a merger.

"Whilst we have known this day is coming, its always emotional to say goodbye to a talented bunch who have given me so much."

The news follows a number of business moves by Frasers Group over the last few weeks. The owner of House of Fraser, Flannels and Sports Direct recently acquired a £75 million stake in AO World and has also been growing its shareholding in ASOS to over 10%.
