US luxury accessories group Coach has opened the doors of its regional flagship store at Birmingham's Bullring, which is its fourth UK store outside of London.

The new 280 sqm store is located on the upper east level of the mall and sells its full range of bags, footwear, outerwear and accessories.

Bullring and Grand Central general manager Michaela Moore said the opening demonstrated the centre's "continued appeal to international aspirational brands". "Coupled with the recent opening of Russell & Bromley’s debut store in the city, this news further cements Bullring’s position as one of the UK’s premier retail and leisure destinations," she said.

Hugo Boss has also launched its new look store at Bullring following a major investment in its fit out and Volkswagen, Ben Sherman, T2, New Look Men and Smashbox have also opened regional debut stores at the centre in the past 12 months.

Coach Europe president Catherine Levesque said: "We are thrilled to trade alongside such an esteemed list of luxury labels and at such an iconic location. The centre’s exceptional footfall is a great opportunity for us to offer our luxury products to an ever-growing affluent customer base.”

Bullring boasts an annual footfall of more than 36m and says retailers in the location perform on average 55% ahead of the national average.
