Boodil offers customers instant rewards for shopping online
A recently launched payment platform, Boodil, is offering redeemable reward points to customers every time they shop online.
Boodil is an alternate payment solution that sits on the checkout of an array of e-tailers, including Beauty Flash and Lusso Footwear.
The company rewards customers every time they check out with redeemable points, which can be used on its prize draws from shopping vouchers, electronic goods and even holiday vouchers. Though this may sound all too familiar, it differs from the typical credit card model. The open banking payment option means funds are settled instantly, fees are significantly cheaper and chargeback fraud is eradicated.
Boodil's mobile application has recently gone live on iOS and Android. The app reveals the current prize draws available along with exclusive discounts from major retailers such as JD Williams and Secret Sales.
Harry Luscombe, CEO and Founder of Boodil, told TheIndustry.fashion: "We wanted to address the fundamental issue when it came to "Pay by Bank" payments for retailers, which were the low customer adoption rates. We have created an incentive and a reason to select our payment method rather than having to check out via debit card with our loyalty and rewards app.
"Our points can be used in the mobile app on various prize draw entries and giveaways for things such as retail vouchers, electronic goods and even holidays. Unlike Amex, we have made the app free and accessible to all. You do not need to spend tens of thousands to see the benefits. We have also created a rewards club with a number of discounts from top-tier retailers as well."
