ASOS appoints new Non-Executive Director
ASOS has announced the appointment of Marie Gulin-Merle as Non-Executive Director, effective 1 February 2023.
As part of this, Gulin-Merle will serve on the remuneration committee, which will be chaired by Mai Fyfield from 1 January 2023.
Gulin-Merle is currently Global Vice President of Ads Marketing at Google. Prior to this, she served as Chief Digital Officer at PVH Corp. and Chief Marketing Officer at Calvin Klein. Gulin-Merle has also held a number of roles at L'Oreal.
Jørgen Lindemann, Chairman of ASOS, said: "On behalf of the board, I want to welcome Marie to ASOS. Marie joins us with a depth of relevant industry knowledge across international ecommerce, marketing, beauty and brands. The board will greatly benefit from Marie's expertise, and we look forward to working closely with her."
The announcement follows the appointment of Wei Gao as new Non-Executive Director and Mai Fyfield as Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
Earlier this month, ASOS announced the departure of interim Chief Financial Officer Katy Mecklenburgh, who will be leaving the role in 2023 after accepting a new role as CFO at Softcat.
