Anya Hindmarch to open Labelled store in Burlington Arcade “dedicated to the art of organisation”

Anya Hindmarch is opening a 120 sq ft store at Burlington Arcade in London on 11 November, specifically for its best-selling Labelled collection of cases, bags, pouches, purses and vanity kits.

Designed to help keep customers organised, the range has a label on each piece, such as ‘Girlie Stuff’, ‘Jewellery’, ‘Bathroom Cabinet’ and ‘Important Things’. There’s also the ultimate ‘In-Flight Bag’, which features separate pockets and compartments labelled ‘Charger’, ‘Water’, ‘Earphones’ and so on - to help to make the user’s travel experience seamless.

Anya Hindmarch, who has recently regained control of the eponymous luxury fashion accessories business she founded in London in 1987, four years after returning as Chief Executive - having stepped back from the company eight years earlier – said: “I am thrilled to be opening a standalone Labelled store in Burlington Arcade. It is an historic London landmark, a place that celebrates craftsmanship and a place that holds very special childhood memories for me.”

Other key pieces in the Labelled collection include the ‘Commuter Tote’, which has a host of labelled pockets inside and out and is described as “perfect to get you organised for the school run or as a portable home office”. Also for travel, the spacious ‘24-Hour Bag’ boasts internal compartments for everything from cables to underwear.

Each piece in the collection is made from regenerated ECONYL, one of the most durable recycled nylons, “made to withstand the rigours of a busy life”.
