Anna Wintour collaborates with Nike on trainer collection
If proof were needed (not that it was) that trainers are the shoe of the moment, Vogue US editor in chief Anna Wintour – who is famous for wearing only Manolo Blahnik heels – has designed a collection of trainers in collaboration with Nike.
The Anna Wintour Okay, "AWOK", sneakers are a take on the sportswear giant's Nike Air Jordan high tops. The collection is made up of four silhouettes, including the "AJ1 Zip AWOK" zip-up style in bright red or white and the "AJ3 AWOK" which comes in black and a tweed style in reference to Wintour's signature Chanel suits.
Each shoe comes with an "edited by Vogue" keychain, a limited edition box and dust bags, and features Wintour's signature on the sole. AJ1 High Zip AWOK will be available from 21 July while the AJ3 AWOK will launch on 7 September. See more information here.
