Adidas recodes Prada Linea Rossa for football boot collection
Sportswear giant Adidas and luxury fashion brand Prada have unveiled 'Adidas Football for Prada´ - a collection that fuses ‘football technologies’ and ‘sophisticated codes’.
The collection reimagines the three leading Adidas football boots, including the Predator Accuracy, the Copa Pure and the X Crazyfast.
Dedicated to both men and women, the collection celebrates both Adidas’ performance footwear and Prada’s luxury materials.
Prada Linea Rossa, which was launched back in 1997, is the luxury brand’s sportswear line. This collection is typified by the bold red iconography that characterises Prada Linea Rossa. What’s more, each style is expertly crafted with the finest leather.
Unveiled on a line-up of some of the best footballers in the world including Catarina Macario, Paulo Dybala, Rafael Leão and Pedri, the Adidas Football for Prada collection will be available in limited numbers.
The design codes of the boot collection will also be showcased through an exclusive kit for the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team video game. The game features animated versions of a branded jersey and shorts, transcending the partnership from the physical into the digital realm.
The Adidas Football for Prada collection is available from today on the Adidas CONFIRMED app and on May 25 via prada.com and select Prada stores.
This news follows Adidas' published Q1 financials. The company reported flat year-on-year revenues in Q1 despite dropping its Yeezy line. However, the company predicts "2023 will be a bumpy year".
