Yoox Net-A-Porter sales top €2bn

Luxury online fashion group Yoox Net-A-Porter has revealed that its sales topped €2bn in financial year 2017, an increase of almost 17% on on organic basis year-on-year.

In preliminary figures released ahead of its full annual results to be published 6 March, the group reported full-year net revenues of €2.1bn (up 16.9%) and positive growth across its three main business lines, and across all regions.

Multi-brand In-Season net revenues (which includes Net-A-Porter.com and MrPorter.com) were up 18.3%; Multi-brand Off-Season (including Yoox.com and TheOutnet.com) net revenues were up 14.9%; and  Gross Merchandise Value of Online Flagship Stores was up 20.8%.

The business also said it had racked up 842.2m visits to its sites during the year, compared to 715.5m in the prior year. It received 9.5m orders with an average order value of €328, compared to €334 in the prior year. Active customers have now hit 3.1m (2016: 2.9m).
