WeAr Select partners with British Fashion Council for London Collections Men

New international trade fair WeAr Select has partnered with the British Fashion Council (BFC) for London Collections Men (LC:M), which take place at the same time next January.

WeAr Select is a new concept of trade fair covering menswear, womenswear, footwear & accessories, as well as "cool items for concept stores and art". Staged by the publishers of international fashion trade publication WeAr, it takes place on 9 and 10 January 2016 at Old Billingsgate.

Under the terms of the agreement with the BFC, buyers attending the showrooms at LC:M will be offered free access to WeAr Select and vice versa.

WeAr Select differs from other trade fairs in that its main aim is to give buyers an overview of the season under one roof. Each exhibiting brand must choose from one of three purpose-built booth sizes and bring a maximum of 35 pieces per category.

International brands and up-and-coming designers will be featured in a line-up that already includes, CP Company, Sand, Blauer, Gaastra, Denham, Nine in the Morning and Avant Toi.

WeAr Select has also signed a partnership with global trend forecaster WGSN to provide trend content for the show.
