Uniqlo has today announced that it will officially open the doors to its not first, not second, but third store on Oxford Street on Thursday 18 April.

The 1,300 sqm store, which is the retailer's 18th in the UK, is located across two floors in the heart of London's West End with entrances on Charing Cross Road and Oxford Street next to Tottenham Court Road station.

It will spotlight Uniqlo's LifeWear philosophy across women, men, kids and babies as well as its collaborations with JW Anderson and UNIQLO:C with Clare Waight Keller.

Alessandro Dudech, Chief Operating Officer at Uniqlo UK, said: "Were delighted to be opening another Uniqlo store on one of London streets, it is a real privilege to bring LifeWear to the local community as well as visitors exploring the city."

This digital-infused store will focus on convenience with multiple screens showcasing trending items and where to find them directly within two floors. What's more, not only will a repair service be on site, but also a water refilling point which customers can use to rehydrate whilst shopping.

The first 100 customers through the door on opening day, and again on 20 April, will receive a Uniqlo One Oxford Street goody bag including the brand's viral mini round shoulder bag. The first 20 customers on each day will be challenged to fill their free bag to the brim, receiving all the contents for free.

Fast Retailing, the parent company of Uniqlo, reported in January a consolidated revenue rise of 13.2% year-on-year to £4.37 billion (810.8 billion yen) for the first quarter of FY24.

In the three months leading up to November 2023, the company reported an operating profit of £790 million (146.6 billion yen), up by 25.3%.
