Torlowei, the luxury womenswear and lingerie brand originating from West Africa, has popped up in Harrods for a monthlong concession.

The brand was founded in 2017 by the design mother and daughter duo Patience Torlowei and Mojisola Adegbile. With each collection, the two create timeless pieces that are designed to be passed down from generation to generation.

Housed in the lingerie and loungewear department of the historic landmark's first floor, the space reflects the pillars of the brand: 'Colour, Craftsmanship, Creativity, and Comfort'.

Patience Torlowei said: "I simply adore Harrods. It's an iconic institution and one of London’s most recognizable landmarks."

"I could get lost in the store for hours, and that's why we're excited to debut our first pop-up at Harrods to the discerning shoppers of London. We want to use this pop-up to showcase the craftsmanship behind our pieces handcrafted by our skilled artisans in Africa - Nigeria and Morocco."

Mojisola Adegbile, Torlowei's CEO, added: "The Torlowei Art collection is bolder and fresher than ever. We've kept our classic silhouettes but added vibrant new colours.

"Each piece is a handcrafted work of art so shoppers can expect a curated assortment of womenswear & lingerie, all designed to create versatile looks that can be enhanced by a range of elegant and practical accessories."

The Torlowei pop-up it Harrods is open now until 15 March.
