Susan Caplan and Orelia join forces to create 'new vintage' jewellery
British Jewellery brand, Orelia, has launched its first-ever collaborative collection with luxury vintage jewellery expert, Susan Caplan.
Orelia was created in 2008 by Collette Flood with a mission to be the bridge between luxury and value by delivering contemporary design and great products at a compelling price. This collaboration sees Orelia’s contemporary aesthetic and affordable price point meet Susan Caplan’s luxury heritage.
The limited edition collection is made up of necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets - all of which have less than 100 pieces of each style available globally.
Orelia’s design team worked with Susan Caplan to draw from fashion references to create the five stories in the collection: Treasure Chest, Vintage Medallion, Serpent, Vintage Bow and Jewelled Leopard. The idea behind each and every piece is to add to the wearer’s everyday looks and to create pieces that become "their new vintage".
Created with sustainability in mind, each piece is made with a recycled brass core, gold plating and repurposed vintage semi-precious stones sourced exclusively from Susan Caplan’s vintage archive. What's more, the Orelia x Susan Caplan range is packaged without the use of glue and is fully recyclable. Not only that, but it's also biodegradable and has FSC certification, ensuring that the pulps used to create the paper packaging derive from managed forests.
Prices range from £30 to £75, available at Orelia online and in-store from 2 October 2023.
