Sosandar names Emily Frazer as creative director

Sosandar, the AIM-listed womenswear etailer has named Emily Frazer, formerly of Karen Millen and Coast, as its new creative director.

Frazer brings a wealth of experience to the fast-growing brand. She had been head of brand and creative at both Karen Millen and Coast, part of the Boohoo Group, since 2020 and her CV also includes senior roles at Miss Pap and In The Style among others.

“Sosandar is one of the fastest-growing women’s fashion brands in the UK. I am excited to be part of an already incredibly successful brand," she said of her appointment.

Sosandar Co-founders and Co-CEOs Ali Hall and Julie Lavington added: “We are delighted to welcome Emily as Creative Director. With her experience and creative energy she will make a great addition to our team."

The Sosandar brand was established in 2016 by former fashion publishing executives Ali Hall and Julie Lavington. The brand is sold via its own websites and via third-party partners including NEXT, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's and Freemans.

Hall and Lavington recently revealed their plans to open physical retail stores and is targeting "affluent towns with thriving high streets". Its first stores are expected to be open by spring next year.

Today, Sosandar has launched MONO STUDIO, its new collection of monochrome essentials (main image). The timeless collection is designed to add "a note of exclusivity to any woman’s wardrobe".
