Following on from last week’s announcement that the Hyve Group’s next Moda fashion fair – set for February 2021 – has been cancelled, the group’s Scoop and Pure London shows, due to take place 14-16 February, 2021, have now followed suit.
In a statement released today, Hyve Group’s Managing Director for UK Retail, Julie Driscoll, writes: “Due to the latest UK Government restrictions, it is with great sadness that we have been forced to cancel both Scoop and Pure London’s February 2021 events.
“While we had been looking forward to welcoming our exhibitors and visitors back to Scoop and Pure London in February, the effect of the ongoing government restrictions – in response to the coronavirus pandemic – is that we have been forced to cancel this event.”
Despite this disappointing news, Driscoll says they are delighted to be relaunching the company’s virtual forum, Fashion Together, with “first-look access to the latest collections,” panel sessions and trend intelligence – taking place on 23 February, 2021.
In the meantime, the Hyve Group is planning for Scoop and Pure London’s summer editions, which will take place in September 2021, “with some very exciting plans to be announced soon.”
